Arima Onsen — Japan's oldest hot spring resort, nestled in the Rokko mountains above Kobe — enchants with two unique spring types found nowhere else on earth: the rust-coloured kinsen (gold water) rich in iron and saline minerals, and the clear ginsen (silver water) with its radioactive radium properties.
